Moments of Joy

Jindřiška Kohoutková

We have just entered the season of celebration. The sacred time where the most of the world is focused on qualites such as love, joy and happiness. In the northern hemisphere we celebrate the return of light to our lives together with the Winter Solstice and couple days later we celebrate symbolic birth of baby Jesus according to Christian tradition. Both events can go hand in hand if we can see the symbolism of these events. It is about celebration of love and light in our lifes, connection with our true self and staying present to what is.

We can find the real love, joy and happiness if we are willing to look a little bit deeper into ourself, if we our able to not let ourselves be distracted by the consumerist way of life, which is at its peak during this period, if we can stay in silence and listen to what is at least for little periods of the day. This is the real richness that this season offers us and that can be permanent if we are able to maintain and cultivate our connection with the true self.

.

This sacred time can be very nourishing and if understood well it can serve us as a great source of inspiration. If we are able to slow down and be present to what is, we can see the magic that is happening around us. We can find it in "small things" such as hearing birds singing before dawn, specific combination of colours and light you see in the sky on your evening walk, or the sparks in the eyes of your beloved person when they wake up in the morning. Those can be little moments of joy that nourishes your soul and bring happiness to your life.

May you enjoy these moments to the fullest and let the connection with the truth be a source of inspiration and nourishment for your upcoming creative endeavours.

With Love,

Jindriska
